Over the years, the bark edged bowl has become our best selling style of serving bowl, especially with repeat customers familiar with the brand. The live bark edge combines with the smooth interior to reflect a balance between rugged natural beauty and functional form. With this bowl, we strive to maintain as much of the natural tree as possible in the finished piece, and depending on the amount of colour in the individual bowl, it may range from freshly elegant to darkly mysterious. Turned on our custom lathe, bowls are nested to eliminate waste, creating unique colouring and variations in size and depth between bowls. Each bowl is refreshingly unique.

Caring for your Stinson piece is easy. Excluding burls, all pieces can be washed with soapy water – you can even put it right in your sink if it will fit! But please don’t let the items soak, and definitely don’t put them in the dishwasher. Once they have been wiped or rinsed clean, allow them to dry fully.
Depending on how often you use them, we suggest you re-oil them with Wooden Bowl & Board Oil & Wax, using a clean cloth.
